The Process of a Hazard to Health
Clean-up

1. Assessment
We start with an assessment of the property to ascertain the level of the situation. This assessment pinpoints dangers and contaminants. It also tries to identify what it may be possible to save in the property

2. Evacuation

Occupants of the home often have to leave the home for the duration of the clean-up operations

3. Removal of personal belongings and furniture

During these types of clean-ups most belongings have perished beyond salvageable. Water damage, human and animal urine, mould and other contaminates render the items hazardous to health.

4. Removal and Disposal

Hazardous contaminants are carefully removed. Safety gear and specific equipment are needed to handle these substances. Legal disposal of hazardous waste.

5. Cleaning and Decontamination

Decontamination is done using the right disinfectants and cleaners. To keep the place secure and eliminate infections, this procedure is essential. We use trade-rated, strong chemicals such as CHlor-clean which is used in hospital sanitation.

6. Restoration

Depending on the damage, restoration may be needed. Repainting and structural repairs may be needed to restore the area. The appropriate tradespeople can be arranged for repairs where necessary.

7. Return to the home

We support the client and their family with the return and reintegration to the home. We help source and replace items of furniture and kitchenware etc where necessary.
