In this stage, you are intending to start the healthier behaviours in the foreseeable future (defined as within the next 6 months). You recognise that your hoarding and living conditions may be problematic. You're reflecting on your situation and thinking about the practical consideration of the pros and cons of changing your behaviour. You're having mixed feelings or contradictory ideas about toward changing your behaviour. An online, self-paced course with reading materials, short videos and workbooks. Participants can work through the steps in their own time, learning more about their hoarding disorder and understanding why they have difficulty in throwing things away or why they accumulate more and more. You need practical strategies to learn to recognise your hoarding disorder and then make small incremental changes to reduce your hoarding on a path to recovery. There is no quick fix, this is a lifelong process.
